The sections of the movement we run are :
Beaver Scouts (6-8 years) Tuesday 6pm - 7pm
Cub Scouts (8-10 ½ years) Thursday 6.30pm - 8pm
Scouts (10 ½ - 14 ½ years) Monday 7pm - 9pm
All sections are open to male and female young people.
The purpose of the movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
If you would like information on any of our sections then please visit the links above or email us.
Let Group Scout Leader know details of other known Queens Scouts and Kings Scouts.
Become a member of the group executive
Become an adult leader in the sections.
If you have a hobby or interest, you might like to come along and share this with the members of one of the sections for an evening, or series of evenings
If you have a trade, you might like to volunteer to help out with the administration and maintenance of the group property.
If you have a flair for finance or organising things, you might like to organise an event involving parents and perhaps the young people, or help us to be successful in our application for grant aid.
You may have a good idea for a fundraiser.
You may have an idea of something less well known in the area for something the young people would be keen to try.
We meet in our own premises in Wilson’s Park (behind the Damacre Centre)
